~ Now I Understand - by Barbara Casey ~
As a home business owner, I always shied away from network
marketing.
For one thing, I'm a better writer than speaker, so giving
presentations didn't appeal to me. I've run across many "in your
face" online MLMers who were not exactly role models for me, either.
And I hadn't found a product I was willing to commit to buying like
clockwork month after month.
Until now.
Now I understand the zeal of people who find a product that works
for them - one that they want to share with the world, they like it
so much.
As a student of intuitive development, I meditate frequently. That's
where my most heartfelt business ideas and direction come from.
And network marketing is now becoming part of my business of helping
other home biz owners make a difference in the world.
As a niche marketing coach, I like to encourage business owners to
create a niche around something for which they are passionate and
about which they can become "slightly famous."
Niche marketing isn't just a buzzword - it's a way to build a
business that feels like "home" - a home where others feel
comfortable, also. The right niche opens your heart, feels
comfortable to prospective clients, and makes you eager to get up in
the morning.
In my case, I feel very strongly about helping home business owners
who want to make a difference in the world, who do not have a 401K
or pension plan, and who are getting closer to "retirement age."
It kind of sneaks up on you... all of a sudden, you're 55 or 60,
wondering how in the world you'll ever manage on social security.
And you realize... you can't.
You either have to keep working 'til you drop or create a plan that
generates residual income to augment social security. If you have
chunks of money to invest in stocks, bonds and real estate, that
would certainly help.
But if you don't have a pot of cash saved up already, then what?
In my research on this subject, I learned that one of the few ways I
could generate enough income in a fairly short period of time was -
network marketing.
Serendipity (Law of Attraction, really) brought me the product I am
now passionately sharing. My own need and research showed me the
types of people I would love to have join me in this work (single
women over 50 in need of building retirement income fairly quickly).
And meditation confirmed that I can make a difference in the world
because (1) the product is high-frequency, (2) extra money "buys"
serenity and uplifting experiences, and (3) a network of like-minded
women in their wisdom years is an awesome thing with much potential
for good.
If your current jobs, businesses or investments aren't producing
enough income to support you into your 60s, 70s and 80s - and if
you're closer to 60 than 40, network marketing is worth looking
into, I've learned.
Fortune Magazine says network marketing is "The best-kept secret of
the business world...An industry with steady annual growth, healthy
cash flows, high return for invested capital, and long-term
prospects for global expansion."
I'm now a believer.
And I'm on a mission to help women in my circumstances have a
frolicking, fun time over the next decade or three - with no
financial worries to slow us down. Anxiety ages us. And it doesn't
need to happen.
I've learned a thing or two about The Law of Attraction over the
years, but I'm still pretty amazed at how the Universe brings us the
answers to our most pressing needs.
I needed more energy and attracted a nutritional tonic. I was
fretting about cash flow and attracted a new income stream for my
business... one that will cover me for years to come.
I'm kinda liking these "wisdom years."

~ Tipping as a Spiritual Practice - by Linda Miller ~
My husband is the biggest tipper I know - and he has changed my
thinking about tipping.
For a long time after I married Dennis I was amazed at the amount he
tipped. I mean, it's not like a hundred dollars or anything, but he
always tips 20% or more.
For example, this past week we had lunch at a Chinese buffet and our
bill was like $17.00. He tipped $5.00 - a pretty good tip for a
buffet and a $17.00 meal, right?
He always tips 20% or MORE.
It doesn't matter to us if the server did a good job... or if the
food is good. We tip the same.
If there is a problem with the service or the food, we talk to the
manager of the restaurant.
So how is tipping a Spiritual Practice?
Well, I have come to learn that when I tip abundantly I FEEL
abundant... and I help the server to feel abundant.
$5.00 in your pocket can make the difference in a good night and a
bad night for a server, don't you think?
In addition, it is another way to GIVE. When we give, we also open
the ability to receive.
What if every time you tipped, you thought of it as seed money?
Planting seeds with your tips... knowing that what you give -
wherever you give it... when given with an abundant spirit... will
create an opening for you to receive.
Powerful stuff, huh?
So, the next time you go to a restaurant, remember that you have the
opportunity to practice abundance by being abundant with your tip.
You have the opportunity to create a feeling of abundance in someone
else.
Imagine how a server feels when they clear a table and find a dollar
or two dollar tip.
Then imagine how they feel when they see five dollars or more.
Abundant.
Won't you join us in the practice of tipping as a part of your own
Spiritual Practice.
Call it a mission. A mission to create more abundance in the world,
starting with YOU.
You ARE abundant.
