~ Is Your Business Fun? ~

Does getting up in the morning fill you with joy?... Or are the Monday morning blues a daily event?

Does your blazing passion for your work inspire you with new ideas to try?... Or are you slumped over on a smouldering heap of "to do" lists?

Why not take a couple of deep breaths - right now - relax for a second, and honestly assess how happy you are in your business..................

Okay, so are we talking sizzle - or fizzle?

If things are popping, that's great! Keep up the good work.

If you're feeling kind of flat when you think about the business you're in, maybe it's time to shift into a higher gear - or change vehicles altogether.

Life's too short for it to feel so long.

How did we lose that "blazing passion" anyway? Most of us had it when we launched our new business. Where'd it go?

Well, maybe it's still there, but wants to be ramped up to a new, more challenging level.

Or maybe you've found a NEW blazing passion but haven't figured out how to build a business around it yet.

So you keep doing what's familiar, even though your heart's not in it anymore. Makes the day seem awfully long, though, doesn't it, until you can turn your attention to what you'd rather be doing.

My blazing passion is working with new ideas - yours or mine - to create something that makes a difference in people's lives. Seeing a new vision for my clients' business and fleshing out the practical details gives me great joy. I like to see good ideas bear fruit on the physical plane.

I like creating business ventures of my own, too. But the focus, somehow, must now include fun, joy, light heartedness. My new website - www.weightlossfasttrack.com - is all about making losing weight a *fun* experience.

We're far more open about allowing in our good when we feel joyful. And our subconscious resistance pretty much melts away when we're happy.

This is the fast track to weight loss, building a profitable business - or anything else, when you think about it.

As we head toward our annual time of thanksgiving, and the inevitable new year that follows, let's give ourselves permission to think wild and crazy thoughts, to dream bigger than we ever dared and to just have fun - all day long.

Our work is our play is our work is our play...

~ About This Blogging Thing... ~

I finally created a blog!

It's a companion to my weight loss website and you can see it at http://womenlosingweight.blogspot.com.

I used Blogger (www.blogger.com) to make my new blog (web log) and found it pretty easy to set up. Blogger, by the way, is a free service from the Google folks.

Creating your own blog makes a lot of sense if you have a website that you can't change yourself, or if your webmaster charges high fees for any revisions you make.

You can even use a blog IN PLACE OF a website.

You can use your blog to update your class schedules, link to specific pages on your website, express your personal views, give product updates and invite comments.

Many bloggers use their blogs as a newsletter, sending emails to their mailing list to inform them of new posts and updates.

It's definitely worth looking into.
