Radio Publicity - 3
Shows to Consider
|

A new holistic publicity
co-operative is now forming
for authors, speakers,
coaches, and business owners
serving the holistic and
personal growth market.
The idea is to create an
easier way to promote your
books, products and classes
to qualified buyers.
=> Would you like to be part
of ongoing publicity
partnerships and joint
ventures with like-minded
business owners?
=> Do you have books and
e-books you'd like to
promote?
=> Have you been looking for
like-minded ezines and
websites to market your
products, teleseminars and
events?
=> Would you like to be
considered for membership in
our Holistic Publicity
Co-operative of authors,
speakers, coaches, teachers
and entrepreneurs to create
win-win relationships
amongst buyers, sellers and
publicity partners?
Holistic Publicity Yahoo
Group FAQ (The 200K Club)
The 200K Club is a publicity
co-operative of authors,
speakers, coaches, teachers
and business owners who want
to make a difference in the
world... and a name for
themselves at the same time.
We use the Yahoo Group
format for communicating
with one another. You'll
need to log-in with an
existing Yahoo Group
profile... or you can create
a profile just for this
group. You'll be asked to do
this when you join.
We provide a venue for
idea-brainstorming, joint
venturing, networking and
creating publicity teams for
your new books, products,
classes and services.
1. Each of us has a mailing
list that remains our own
property.
2. The Yahoo Group emails
will be used for information
exchange, as well as for
requests for assistance in
new book and product
promotion through our
respective mailing lists.
3. We are building a group
of members we can trust to
help us build our business
and public reputation.
4. We understand that not
all books, courses and
products will be appropriate
for everyone's mailing
lists... but we ask for as
much participation as
possible.
5. We recognize that list
owners with thousands of
subscribers may wish to
joint venture primarily with
larger list owners.
6. Those of us with lists
under 2,500 will tend to
work with like-sized mailing
lists, as we grow our
subscriber base.
7. Our intention is to
create a group with access
to 200,000 names (The 200K
Club). When we reach 200,000
names in our collective
email lists, we will aim
higher still.
We're looking for members
with:
1. An email/subscriber list
of at least 250 people.
2. Free bonus gift items for
email promotions.
3. A willingness to promote
other people's books,
products and courses through
your email lists, blogs and
websites in exchange for
your own being promoted.
4. A co-operative spirit.
You can use an existing
Yahoo Profile (click here:
http://profiles.yahoo.com/barbnewradiance
- to view my profile, as an
example)... or create one
especially for the Holistic
Publicity Group.
*** Please note in your
Yahoo "Profile" the (1) name
of your ezine, (2) the
number of subscribers and
(3) any bonus gifts you have
to offer for promotional
campaigns, with their dollar
value.

1. The Deborah Ray Show:
Lifestyle talk radio
focusing on health,
wellness, fitness and
nutrition. 50,000 listeners
nationally on AM radio
stations, and now on the
Sirius Network as well.
http://www.healthybroadcastnetwork.com
- Phone 727-572-0400, ext
104 - Scott Drury is the
person to talk to.
For a media kit, email
sales@healthytalkradio.com.
30-second radio spots start
at $250; 30-second TV spots
are $350, with long-term
options available.
2. The Dr. Pat Show (Dr. Pat
Baccili) originates in
Seattle, but has now
expanded to the Tampa Bay
market. Sponsorship can
include ad space and an
interview. The media kit
doesn't specify rates, but
they are just opening up the
Tampa Bay market, so rates
are likely to be discounted.
Dr. Pat already has a
following in the Seattle
market.
The show's focus is a radio
forum for leaders in the
fields of health, wellness
and human potential. The
shows are archived, podcast,
and available on
VoiceAmerica.com,
HealthyLife.net and
BBSRadio.com so the reach is
potentially quite good.
Dr. Pat began her radio
career as a sponsor on
someone else's show and then
created her own format with
her own audience. For more
info, her website is
http://www.thedrpatshow.com
- For advertising info,
please contact Anne Nelson
at 206-349-9888.
3. In Tampa Bay, Tammy
Taylor has a new show called
"Our Greatest Hour" on WTAN
1340 AM Fridays at 6:00 AM.
Tammy calls her show a "new
age/self-help" show for
commuters heading for "the
grind." She's looking for
sponsors (they get 30-second
slots) and guests (who pay
to appear as guests - $75
for 1/2 hour; $150 for an
hour long slot).
http://www.tantalk1340.com
- Tammy's email is
ourgreatesthour@yahoo.com.
Phone: 727-641-5221.
Internet radio e-book...
looks like I may be
co-authoring an e-guide on
getting publicity using
internet radio.
If you have any leads for
good internet radio shows to
include (and bad ones to
exclude), I'd love to hear
about them. This may end up
as a series for
health-related radio shows,
personal growth shows,
women's shows, etc. Your
experience and ideas are
most welcome. Please email
me at
Barbara@newradiance.com
or phone 727-397-2702.
Thanks. |

So far, my main "virtual"
networking has been on
Ryze.com. I enjoy checking
in with the networks I
belong to and hopping on my
niche marketing soapbox from
time to time.
I've made some terrific
contacts there, too, many of
whom have contributed bonus
gifts for the launch of my
new e-book.
I even have my own network.
Here's the link:
http://nichemarketing-network.ryze.com
. You're welcome to come on
over and check us out.
Ryze doesn't cost anything
to join and there are
networks in many, many
categories. You can even
create your own for a small
fee and step on your own
soapbox.
Another networking site I
want to check out is:
http://www.powerfulintentions.com
. I know many people there
already.
To learn more about virtual
networking, you can download
Scott Allen's book "The
Virtual Handshake" at no
charge:
