~~ RIDING THE ENERGY WAVE ~~
The threat of war and the retaliations we know will come
(since 9/11/01), have led many people to see George W.
Bush's war in a different light than they viewed his father's
Gulf war -- when we, at home, felt and actually were, safe.
We've seen huge peace rallies, world wide group
meditations and prayers, and online courses in Spiritual
Peacemaking (http://www.emissaryoflight.com), all of
which have one focused aim -- to raise consciousness
about peace.
The methodology is quite interesting. If masses of people
focus on and send out higher vibratory thoughts and
feelings, it can't help but have an effect on people passing
through the energy. If you were a Buccaneer fan during
the January 2003 Super Bowl hoopla, you'll know exactly
what I mean.
Even those who don't normally follow the game were
caught up in the excitement as the dream of true blue
fans got closer to being realized. The entire region swam
in an energy of hopefulness, followed by pride and then
incredible joy.
What do football and the peace movement have to do
with your business? In themselves, maybe not too much.
But as examples of energy transmutation, plenty.
If you want your business, organization or spiritual center
to make a difference in the world, find ways to frequently
raise your own vibratory energy, as individuals and in your
groups. You know how -- prayer, meditation, walks in
nature, music, inspirational writings -- whatever works.
Your clients, members and parishioners will get an
energy boost too. They might not know why, but they'll
feel lighter, happier and more at ease. They will want to
be around you, because it feels so good to be there. If you
practice this diligently, you'll fill your appointment schedule
and your pews in no time.
Peace on earth starts with you and me doing our daily
work with an attitude of joy and love. If you want a huge
energy booster, by all means attend one of the big peace
rallies. But you don't really need to. All it takes is to feel
the heart of your client beating as one with yours as you
help him improve his life in some way.
People with higher thoughts and vibrations stimulate
others to higher thoughts. As the teacher/healer/wayshower,
it starts with you. But it goes on forever.
~~ HOW TO CREATE A QUICK & EASY WEBSITE ~~
I got caught up in my own energy wave a couple of weeks
ago when I finally found time to write and create my new
website (http://www.spiritualmarketingcoach.com). My
spiritual marketing articles (such as "Riding the Energy
Wave") and most of the pages on my new website have
been written in cooperation with spirit. I hold the pen, but
the ideas are a joint venture.
There's quite a bit of new material on the website, so my
energies were flying high for a few days. I was also very
pleased with how easy it was to make this new website
and have it looking professionally-done with no design
work on my part.
While www.newradiance.com is jam packed with
marketing tips, tools, how-to's and practical articles for
building your business, I wanted the Spiritual Marketing
website to have a different feel -- and a higher energy.
Because making the site was as easy as 1-2-3, I could
spend all the time I needed writing from the heart -- and
for the search engines.

~~ MARKETING TIPS AND INFO ~~
1. GIVE ME MY SERIFS (by Catherine Groves)
Recently I received a newsletter and at once felt
invited into its content by its eye-pleasing cover. Obvious
care was placed in its loving composition. I would have
enjoyed reading it. But the whole of the inside was done
in Helvetica, and few eyes can tolerate column after
column of a sans serif font. Sadly, I couldn't do more
than thumb through it.
Serifs, those tiny lines at the start or finish of a stroke in a
letter, serve a purpose much greater than ornamentation.
Those little lines most of us never notice, much less think
about, enable the eye to move easily from letter to letter
and help the mind to effortlessly see the word as a whole.
That's why sans serif fonts are often used in headlines. If
you're an advertiser, you want the eye to stop at those
words. Sans serif is not used just to catch the eye, but to
stay the eye. But if text is laid out in sans serif, only a very
dogged reader will stick with it for long.
Serif fonts, of which Times Roman is probably the most
common, comfort the eye, though the reader may never
realize it. Given content of similar topic appeal, most readers
know only that they read some items and skip over others. You
can give your work the edge by keeping in mind the optimal
uses of serif and sans serif fonts...and my aching eyes will
thank you for it.
